The problem
Eleven station boxes on the same programme, each with a different depth, wall thickness and internal layout, all being built under a decked street with a 4.2 m clear working height at deck level. Any formwork that could not be struck and moved through that gap was useless.
What we did
The girder formwork was configured so that no assembled unit exceeded 4.0 m in its shortest dimension, letting whole panels move through the deck openings without breaking down. Concrete pressure was calculated per pour against the actual mix and a capped placing rate, which let panel spacing open up on the lower lifts. A single drawing set covered all eleven boxes by parameterising the wall thickness.
What happened
Wall pours ran to a four-day cycle across all boxes. The same kit turned over between stations eleven times with one refacing operation.
