The problem
The commercial case depended on a six-day floor cycle across twelve towers with only four form sets, which meant every set had to move to a new tower every six days without loss. Local labour had not used aluminium systems before.
What we did
Sets were laid out so each was a complete floor plate of one tower with no fitting parts shared between sets. The re-propping schedule was designed against the actual 3-day strength of the mix rather than a nominal 7-day figure, which freed the props a day earlier. IBEC ran the first floor of each tower with its own supervisors and handed over to the site crew on the second.
What happened
Six-day cycle held from the third floor onward. Walls and soffits were accepted for direct painting with no plaster on 100 % of the internal area.
